Not at a whole lot happened this past week, just a bunch of frustration because Guatemalans have no structure and can´t commit to anything, but you still gotta love ´em. They are good people, they just don´t know any better. But yesterday at church, one of the sisters in the ward asked me to give her a blessing, at first I said ¨I think it´s better if my comp does it because I dont know if I can in Spanish,¨ but she insisted that I do it. So, I did. I will tell you what, you really have to rely on the spirit when doing it in another language and in a different form of talking. My fellow brothers and brother-in-law understand that. Talking in tú form and not usted. But, the spirit helped me along and put the words in my head. I was just an instrument in the hands of God giving a blessing to a faithful daughter of God and gave her the counsel, guidance and comfort that she desired from her loving Heavenly Father. I promised her some pretty powerful things, and I when I finished, she was in tears and just told me Thank You, Thank You. I had a testimony before I left on the mission, but I think it was built a little bit on the sand not the rock. But everyday, my testimony has more and more of a foundation on the rock. I love this humbling work. I love you all. I thought we had this to communicate one with another, but I´m the only one using it. But Jeff, can you explain to me again how to use te Brother of Jared and Baptism again. thanks
Love
Elder Miles
